love to blog, but blogging is *a bit* time consuming, and I’m always going back and forth on whether or not I should even. It’s always my “later” goal and something I’ll get to next year or next month or next session. Whatever. I’m just going to rock it and make it my own and give my awesome client’s sessions some attention they deserve. I also think I’m going to back track old sessions during my quiet time of the year. I’ve been on the client side a few times, and personally, I feel really special when my photographer showcases their work of my family. When they don’t, I wonder “uhhh what’s wrong with us that they didn’t want to show us off?” So, if you feel that way, I don’t want you to think that way… *RAMBLING FOREVER* This isn’t an english blog, we’re just here for pictures and rambling, so if that’s your thing… enjoy :)

Meet gabe and his family. We met on a weekend morning in the bright sun and had some fun. It was also really hot. Gabe reminds me a lot of Forest in that he *KNOWS* what he wants and is not afraid to show or ask for it. I also work with his momma – she’s a kick ass veterinarian at the emergency clinic I work for. I wanted to start my blog back again with this session because after I photographed this family, I felt this zap of energy that told me this is what I need to be doing. I need to put more effort into my love for photography and make this into something. Working with someone I already knew in my personal life through my other job was a lot of fun and I think it’s a little scary to do photos for someone I already knew instead of a complete stranger – weird, right? Anyway, try not to smile as much as this family did while you’re looking through their highlights
